How does CBD help anxiety?
Anxiety effects almost everyone in small ways, such as getting nervous before an interview and speaking in front of a large group of people. Studies have shown that CBD can reduce overall anxiety over a continued period of regular use.
What evidence shows CBD can help with anxiety?
A 2011 study called “Neural basis of anxiolytic effects of cannabidiol (CBD) in generalized social anxiety disorder: a preliminary report” done by the Department of Neurosciences and Behavior, Division of Psychiatry, University of São Paulo, Brazil aimed to look at CBDs effect on people suffering from Social anxiety disorder (SAD). They took two groups of people, gave one group 400mg of CBD per day and the other group a placebo. They found that the people who took 400mg of CBD per day experienced less overall anxiety than those who had taken the placebo.
